Hi Ray! Thanks for taking the time to visit. On your comments concerning
LAX, I have shot several rolls of film at that location, but never getting
the effect of the shadow of the plane that I wanted. Perhaps the answer of
useing infrared was just to obvious to consider, but I it finally popped in
my mind. I am going to reshoot that when winter comes and clears some of
that wonderful Los Angeles smog (the main reason for the blown out sky i
assume). I have been working over the last year or so trying out
traditionally unconventional applications in my photography, and I am
therefore glad you noticed that in my IR stuff. I will be adding some
traditional B&W and Color images soon, and hopefully figure out an
affordable way to scan my 6x7 stuff.
I mentioned about reducing file sizes because I am lucky enough to be in
an area where I can get a cable modem, but I am trying to be sensitive to
the limitations of you folks with a standard dial-up connection. And also I
fixed the links as well as sharpening up the index a bit. And no that is
not me in redrock1. I will add captions in the next few days to give some
information with each of the images.
Thanks again
Jerry
PS. To James, I am going to take the animation off the page and put a
regular image up, but btw, what browser are you using?
