Tetenal make a "slide reversal" kit which, they claim, works for all
silver-based B&W negative films. I'm sure it would work with HIE, but
whether you'd get the effect you wanted is something else (especially
halation which, by definition, results from very dense negatives).
Still, it's worth a try.
Alternatively, you may be better scanning the negatives digitally, or
rephotographing prints using Agfa Scala...
