OK; I'm about ready for EIR :)

Hi all,
Just a final round of probing on tips for the Kodak
EIR slide film. I have procured an 82mm #15 yellow
filter and a 77mm-82mm step-up ring. This will allow
me to use my 300mm f4, a 24mm f3.5, & a (hopefully
w/o vignetting) a 20mm f4.5 I may try just holding
it in front of my 17mm f4, too -- just for fun :) As
well I have a 49mm #15 yellow for many other of my
lenses. I also have a 77mm polarizer which will fit in
behind the #15 in the wide-angle hood from the 20mm.
Have also a 49mm polarizer.
anyway ... I was just over at Spearmint's (Gavin ?)
page to check on exposure. I found that he metered @
250 w/ just a #12 yellow and used that. So, any voice
of experience on a good startoff exposure using the
#15/plz combo ?? I intend to wait for a good sunny IR-packed
day for this venture.
I'll most likely try some w/ green & orange filtration
too, as I have those filters. The 17mm f4 fisheye (an old
m42 mount Takumar) has a built-in k2 yellow, UV, & an
orange. I'm unfamiliar w/ the notation on the orange,
though -- 056(O2) ... my other orange is designated "G"
anyway, it'll be fun :)
btw; there are now 6 Fisheye shots on my site in a section
easily accessible from the opening page.
any info appreciated ... Bill
