PINHOLES in HSI

To Ken Neely and the group:

I have also been working on the pinhole problem for some time (on 4x5 
HSI). One of the reason I joined this forum was to get help on this 
persistent anomaly which appears regardless of my processing technique.

Despite many helpful hints from the group, I still get a fine mist of 
pinholes. So, I have gone back to Kodak and tried one of my resposive 
contacts who referred me to other helpful people.

Now this is preliminary. I DO NOT WANT TO START FALSE RUMORS. There MAY 
be a maufacturing "problem" with the way Kodak coats 4x5 HSI. I recently 
sent samples to the lab in Rochester and am awaiting a reply. When I get 
a definitive answer, I will report to the group.
