The best tape to use if you have some, is the silver foil tape for masking
slides.  This is so thin and easy to apply I would suggest attacking it to
the inside of the window.  This tape is IR proof and blocks VERY strong
amounts of visible light as well.

try to seal the window with some other tape or maybe the foam that surrounds
the window needs replacement.
