Got my NightShot

I haven't found a date on it to be sure whether it was made
before or after the cutoff date Sony gave, but the new CCD-TR940
I just got from B&H in New York definitely works in IR in
daylight with or without an 87 filter, so I suspect it is a
pre-modification model.  I haven't had much time to play with it
yet, but from what I've seen so far it should be *very* handy for
previewing landscapes.

For anyone interested, the camcorder is in stock at B&H for
$559.95.
