Loading & leakage

Hi everyone,
Loading in near absolute darkness is as far as I experience is a must. That
is to say practicalty a need. One can understand from the types og fogging
if it is a leakage through the cartridge or due to the generally exposure to
some light. The cardridge leakage happens during the loading processes. It
implies me as an extensions of the perforations in the negative. The other
is a general one which lowers the contrast of the negative and it can be
proved by if the area besides the perforations has the same fogging
characteristics. Both needs special handling. It is the major source of
losing the work which has cost you lots of time and the worse is losing the
hopes of getting previously shot image. The effect of the latter is also a
parameter of how you use the film that is at what ASA. It is directly
proportional with the amount you push the film. The reverse is also causing
problems ending with less contrast and I believe that increasing the contasr
in the printing phase increases the grain. Well absolute darkness is the
only place I love and tolarate to live with at.
Regards to everyone,
İbrahim
