Larry,
Last year, I used SFX200 with an #25 red-filter and I was disappointed, just
because there is almost no IR-effect visible. In june '98, I did another
test with SFX200, this time with a 89B-filter (B&W 092). The camera (Nikon
F601M) was set to 200ASA film speed with ttl-measurement trough the filter
(trripod!). I did bracket +1/0/-1 f-stop. The IR-effect is still weak
compared to IR750 and HIE with #25 red-filter, but I liked the effect
archived with some subjects.
To answer your question: Development was done in Rodinal (1+50) at 20°C for
10 minutes (30s constant agitation, then 5s agitation every 30s). However
next time, I would extend this to 11 or 12 minutes for more contrast.
good shooting,
Chris, Germany
