- Personal history of photography: I have been shooting with a Pentax K1000
for over a decade, mostly wilderness adventures in slide format. Although
trained as an artist, I am entirely self-taught as a photographer. Recently
my photos have become suprisingly artful, moving beyond mere documentation.
As a graphic designer, I create amazing images daily with Photoshop. The
challenge for me now is to see how much of this I can create with the
camera.

- Preferred subjects: The natural world, intriguing snippets of everyday life

- Materials (film, filters, paper, chemistry):?

- Format (35mm/medium format/large format):Would like to expand from 35mm
to a larger format in the next couple years.

- Other strange hobbies: Whitewater kayaking; growing small trees from Africa
