It remains white, when used with a #12 medium-yellow.
Gives a much nicer color palette than in summer, less overwhelming
red-dominance, and the white contrasts nicely with red foliage/trees,
something that would in summer be red grass below red foliage/trees,
ie neither contrast nor disctinction.
Not sure what happens with other filters....keep in mind that both
HIE and EIR are UV-sensitive as well (even more so than they are for
IR!), and snow reflects a lot of UV....
