IR as percentage or light in Alaska and Hawaii - results with EIR...

Shot EIR in Alaska and Hawaii... To maintain consistency of emulsion
processing, etc. I actually shot half a roll each place and left it in
an extra camera body...
The Alaska imagery was shot in November along the Cook Inlet and in
Portage... The Hawaii imagery was shot in December on Waikiki...
ISO was set to 200 metered through the lens with an orange filter in
place for all imagery.... Bracketing 1.3 stops in each direction...
These numbers had previously been used by me for some very successful
outdoor imagery at the 1998 Goodwill Games...
Results....
As some have mentioned here, it appears that the IR component of total
ambient is significantly higher in Northern Latitudes during winter... I
would rate the film at probably 400 to 640 instead of 200 there...
In the tropics, the opposite was the case... Would go with a base
daytime value of 64 ISO...
Would still recommend bracketing the exposures....
Will post result from the cross-processed EIR if there is interest...
