Me either. But I have been experimenting.
Thanks to all that gave me input on their digital experiences.
I have been experimenting on an indoors still life, but for
the life of me, I can't get a sharp picture. I am using the
Koday DC 120 with an 87C gel filter. The camera is
auto-focus only, so I have to use a moveable card that
I lock the focus in on, and then pull it out of the picture
before exposure. I have moved my focusing card from
an inch to a foot and a half closer to the camera, and I
see no noticable difference. In addition, I put a yard
stick slanted at a 45 degree angle through the depth of
the scene, and nothing is really sharp.
Does this make any sense? I'm just experimenting, and
it's nothing important, but it's frustrating. It seems like the
CCD takes the lens out of the equation when it comes to
infrared. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Brad
