Paying $17 per roll is the best price I've seen. I personally buy a
100 foot bulk roll of 70mm EIR film, and split it down the middle, and
then reload the split film in 35mm casettes. However it is a heavily
involved task, but it's worth it. The bulk roll costs me around $200
dollars and I get 40 rolls of 35mm film out of it saving me about $680
bucks.
And yes this film is used so seldom (at least for artistic purposes),
I'm surprised Kodak still produces it. Especially with penny pinchers
like me around.
