Dear Willem,

Thanks for the wonderful site !

Let me share two useful things, at least they have been useful for me.

First, for sure-footed black and white composition, I 've installed a
wratten 90 in the viewfinders of my B&W cameras: manicure scissors make
the little filter, and it lives beneath the diopter lens.

Second, as a very practical alternative to development, consider
standing development. Think of agitation as a control rather than a
given - use it with glycin or low/non- sulfite developers. Like
Rodinal. The result is a film curve like PMK (higher shadow densities
relative to highlights) but without the difficulties of pyro. The images
are identical to PMK, the stain not needed, and the ease of use is
remarkable.

Like many things photographic, 'experts' say it doesn't work, but I'm
just a photographer... ;|

Well, cheers !

Don
