I noticed this lack of a feature in a review and thought, geez, why do camera
makers keep removing useful features like this? I was really surprised that
the reviewer didn't really slam them for this. I thought it was a pain not to
be able to make EI adjustments and forgot that it would be a problem with HIE
and other specialty non-DX coded films. I guess it is another thing to add to
the list of features to check for before using a camera with HIE. You found a
way around it, but it still seems a pointless omission.
