Rob,
I found that the emulsions that I purchased 4 and 5 years ago
were fine, but the emulsions purchased 2 and 3 years ago ALL
had pinhole problems. The films were stored together, shot
together, and processed together in many instances.
Storage was in the coldest part of the fridge for all emulsions. Some
were processed with a stop, some without.
I ran out of the the older emulsions last year, and am wondering what
the current status is. I'm hoping that it is good. :-)
