I was told that the paper backing with 120 film is not IR opaque.
Additionally, IR film is more of a loss leader for Kodak. They can offer the
4X5 version because it is simply cut from their 8X10 variety. The 35mm is split
70mm (my understanding). A great amount of effort would have to take place for
them to offer this in a 120 size, and they would certainly lose money, as IR
film is used by so few people.
