According to Tim's book you can use Forte Fortezo Museum, Polywarmtone FB,
Polygrade and Bromofort. They will yield different results in the developer
and in toners. One of the things I really like about his books is the very
helpful charts in back. The Lith book includes a very nice summary chart of
the different behaviors of various papers. This alone is probably worth the
cost of the book.
And yes, I bought it online - it's available at amazon.com or
barnesandnoble.com. If you have a favorite bookstore, they probably won't
carry it but they can certainly order it.
Side note: I thought one of the reasons for the different publishing dates in
the US and UK was to "americanize" the US version, but that doesn't seem to be
the case. It's a good thing I read enough English mysteries and watch enough
PBS to know what he means by "darkroom torch." Otherwise, I might have become
quite alarmed. :-)
