I think the Jobo is the best processor going for film. Having said that, I
have used it for IR film, and I found the tanks are not IR safe. (I now use
a dim green light when processing IR film, rather than the room lights.)

Would also be grateful for any advice on purchase of a drum and holder for
4x5 sheets for the Jobo.  Guess I could use one of the drums that came with
the processor and buy a holder - any recommendations?

I use and like the 2500 series tank and reels for 4x5. I use the smaller
1500 tank for roll film, though if I was starting fresh, i would stay with
the 2500 series, as you can get roll film spools for this system also.
