Why do you think this?  On Compuserve, a Jobo representative said that the
tanks
had been tested and were fine for developing IR.

**Just a hunch after I fogged some film. It was the first & only time I
processed IR film with the room lights on with the Jobo.
Never had a problem with all steel (lid included) tanks, and haven't had a
problem since.
