RE: Chicago area IR spots

Hi Larry

You could go to the Ilinois Railway Museum In Union, Ill (my home), if
you want to shoot IR images of steam trains this summer, they open April
first. I also like to take aerial IR images from small aircraft like a
Cessna. I have a private pilots license so I usually rent the plane and
go fly with my wife (also licensed). If you know a pilot, have him take
you up. One can also rent a plane and pilot too. If you want to drive a
little ways, shoot some film for the various river lock and dams on the
Mississippi & Illinois rivers. Aw what the heck, I think I'll go do this
myself too. Well have fun, maybe we will run into each other. I hope
this helps you with some ideas.
