Yes, its in "the print". Equal quantities of gum arabic and chinese ink,
mixed well and allowed to dry on a palette. Disolve a tiny amount when
needed.
I mixed up a load of it and it promptly rotted instead of drying.
Also, the gum arabic I bought had grit and twigs in it; all very bio.
Rotring sell predisolved chinese ink which is a bit easier to work with.
The gum arabic is just there to give a glossy finish resembling the
surface of the print.
