I would not put something like these items on a pressure plate. Might suggest
something thin and rigid such as backing paper from 120 size film cut so it is
about same size a pressure plate and then attach it with two thin strips of two
sided Scotch tape. 

You do not want to "push" the film down with uneven, thick materials and down 
into the film channel especially if you will be placing the filter beteeen the
film plane rails.
