Sir,

I'm not from the city, however, I spend MUCH time shooting there...there's
a rounded off office building that's about 30 stories tall @ Canal Street
and I believe the cross street is Jackson on the southeast side of the Loop
that would/should give you a good IF texture...other than that, there's a
buncha stuff that I can tell ya about...down the street from that, along
the Chicago River, is the now abandoned building that was the building
backdraft was filmed in...it's just east of China Town and one and a half
miles down the street from the last location (I forget the cross street for
this...look at a map on the computer and take Canal Street east on 22nd til
just before the river and hook a left, a block down on the street before
the river) and that's where this place is...big openings to shoot...I'll
think about other stuff and get back to you later.
