Keep the film in your inside jacket pocket as you walk through the metal
detector to avoid the film going through the hand luggage X-Ray machine.
Best to use unopened packets, leave the 4x5 box in with your camera bag and
pop the unopened packet in your pocket before you go through.

The hand luggage X-Ray machine will probably have no effect in Europe and
the USA etc, hoewever other countries may use a higher powered device.
