See-Through filter (fwd)

Hi all,

I get the strangest junkmail, but this one is worth a read. It's an add
for a filter (they describe using it with a camcorder) that works in the
near infrared range and allows you to see through stuff (I'm sure you can
see where this message is going). Anyhoo... the site has some interesting
technical info (on the "Principle" page) about how it uses light in the
infrared range. Anyone know how this filter might work when put onto a
still camera with infrared film?
