In addition to rubber, thick black cotton cloth and black vinyl plastic are
good absorbers of near infrared radiation in the region of HIE sensitivity,
so could potentially be used in the construction of IR film changing bags.
As has been noted, black nylon is not a good absorber of radiation in this
region of the spectrum.
