Hi,
The Rebel 2000 is not fully represented on the Canon website, as it is not
officially released yet I believe - it was anounced in several major photo
magazines, but as it is not up on their websites, I suspect it is not common
yet. It replaces their Rebel G, as the upper level of their intro cameras. I
seldom used 35mm, but I wanted something to kick around with when I wasn't
using my 4x5, so I went with the Rebel 2000. The press release for the
camera can be found here: http://www.usa.canon.com/press/021899c.html
