Hi Brian,

you can't overfix your film.

I had an other accident with an Agfa Scala (OK, off topic...) I tried to clean the slides after coffee (!) ran over them and after an hour in the 
water the emultion lift off. That might be caused by the coffee. I would not expect that a couple of hours in water would destry your film. 
And especially not a couple of hours in the fixing bath.

PS. We are talking about black and white film. Be very serious with the times when you develop any color film or paper.
