Gavin, instead of answering these questions off-line/privately,
isn't it much easier for you to just invite these people to join this
mailinglist?
That is how I deal with all private questions like this....:-))
Much less typing, and less chance that the answer goes lost (the 
default reply-to-list concept makes it likely that answers are only send 
to the list, and not to the original poster (who is not on the 
list).
