35mm back for Hasselblad

I recently noticed - on someone's website or in the digest - that someone had 
a back for a Bronica that allowed them to use the 35mm HIE film.  They also 
ended-up with a panoramic format.  I wonder if anyone knows of such a back 
that would fit on my old 500C/M?  Does the film roll vertically as with other 
MF backs or is the back constructed so that panorama pictures can be taken 
without laying the camera on it side?  This solution may be simpler, and 
certainly cheaper, than going to the 70mm. format.  I'd appreciated any 
comments.
