Well I guess I should share my horror story with ordering from B&H, it
might encourage you to go elsewhere.
One day I went down to the store to buy a Canon EOS Elan II, and three
lenses. They had everything but the 50mm f/1.4 in stock, so I purchased
what they had and asked them to order the lens. The sales guy said it
would take about a week and I would receive a call. Two weeks go by, no
call. So I call, the lens is now in stock, but thank's to their short
weekday hours I wait till Sunday to go.
I get there, the lens is sold. They said because I didn't leave a deposit
they sold it. They never asked for one, and I figured the large about of
cash I paid for the other stuff should be enough to hold it for a few
days. I proceeded to get in a long argument with several employees that
got me nowhere. So much for "the customer is always right." So I ordered
the lens again, said I would pay in full if they wanted. Weeks later it
finally arrived.
Then in California I dropped the lens and screwed up the focusing ring.
I'm not looking forward to going back and asking them to repair it.
But, they do sell all things IR.
