Spots on HIE

Hi to everyone,

After reading all the discussions on how HIE is stored before sale and where
it had been procurred, I understand that the strange spots or white points
on HIE are problems of the film itself. That is to say this is not a
function and/or the way film is been processed. So to say pre-wetting, x
revulutions per minute and such things can only effect the contrast and
related characteristics, but not the white spots. BTW is there anyone who
has replaced HIE bulk?
