HIE Survives Heat

I have discovered a rather interesting fact about Kodak HIE Infrared. We all
know the admonishments to keep it cool. Well, a few weeks ago, I conducted a
nude figure workshop. One of the participants was shooting HIE for the first
time. She shot 3 rolls and then a week later, brought them to me for
development. I said something like "you've kept these in the frig, haven't
you?". She got this horrified look on her face and said they had been in her
car for 3 days. This was during a period when we had 90+ degree sunny days, so
who knows how hot the car got each day!
I was just going to toss them, but I had some other rolls to do in the JOBO,
so I thought I'd see just how bad they were. Imagine my surprise when all 3
rolls turned out fine! I can see no heat damage at all.
Who would have thunk it??
