Rodinal will yield you the greatest amount of grain.  If you are looking to maximize the grain, then this is your developer.  If not, you may wish to stick with D76 or Xtol.

I'm new to Infrared mailing list. So just want to say hello and I have quick question. Does anyone tried rodinal with Kodak HIE? What would be the effects of 1+25 and 1+50? I don't want too much contrast as D19 but little bit more grain wouldn't hurt. I have a feeling that rodinal would work for me. Any opinions is appreciated. Thanks and nice to be a member..:-)
