Mark,

That's a very good question - haven't got the answer but do have 3 or 4
Grafmatics and a couple of boxes of HSI in the fridge.  The thing that has
stopped experimentation so far has been the concern about the camera
bellows - bet they leak a lot more IR than the Grafmatic darkslide.

Have read somewhere (maybe here) that someone uses cooking foil wrapped
around the bellows just to be sure.  Well, quite often I adopt the common
practice of wrapping the focussing cloth back over the bellows with
ordinary film using an old 8x10 camera, but this is not ideal.

Have read the thread about light traps on ordinary 4x5 film holders with
interest - the Grafmatic is probably more IR light tight than a 4x5 holder,
but is that darkslide IR safe?
