I think I'll let Andy Frazer write to Simon Marsden for me.  I have tried 
with a few other authors, but with little success.  For those who are 
interested, I have located precisely nearly all of his "In Ruins" sites (and 
as I mentioned, have visited some of them).  I have the full set of 80-plus 
1:50K maps of the country (even showing all of the rural houses, sheds, 
driveways).  I have located nearly all of the sites and, if someone is 
interested, I could give them the precise  grid-coordinates for the places 
that interest them (together with which map it's on).  As a project, I might 
put all of the location information together into one list item for those who 
are interested could print-out.  But I might not get to it until after my 
annual September-long trip to Ireland.
