I, too, tend to convert to metric when using small amounts and dilutions. The
math is much simpler. One liter, or 1000ml, is just over 33oz. So 1/50 of
that is 20ml. Small graduates are easy to find. You have a little waste, but
at that dilution, it's mostly water anyway.
The syringe is a good idea, too. Just depends which method is easiest for you.
