I use it, and it's MUCH better than loading it by hand as I was before...
even if I do still use it in complete darkness. 2424 is on an Estar base,
which *is* the thinner base film to which they refer. The reel they use
to hold the 150 ft. of 2424 is the same reel they use to hold 100 ft. of
other films.
