FYI,

The NASA bulleting on this eclipse predicts that the chance of actually
seeing the disk from any particular spot in south-west England is between 
40-50% (I forgot the exact number).  They base this prediction on 100-year 
weather patterns and historical cloud coverage patterns.  If it's partly
cloudy that day and if you're willing to move at the last second to get
out of a cloud's shadow, then the odds go up.
