I have had no problems metering through my #25 filter at EI 250. If you
are shooting everything at 1/125 F11 then I would suggest that you
consider metering instead. Although your setting may be fine under some
conditions, that isn't necessarily so under others.
You may also wish to reconsider the use of Rodinal unless you really do
like the grainy negatives (it may be your style, it normally isn't mine).
Xtol works great with this film and I've had no problems using this
developer.
Although I normally meter at EI 250 through a #25 filter, I still have to
take the scene into consideration when shooting. This is simply a matter
of learning more about the film and what it does under various
circumstances.
