Reusing developer that is not designed to be used that way is asking for
trouble. D76 can be reused with replenishment, but if you are not
following their directions you risk underdeveloping your negatives.
Developer is cheap, so using it one-shot is the only reasonable course.
There are other, better ways to save money.
