Just don't meter off of the blue sky. I do that sometimes when I'm shooting
scenes with normal film, but learned my lesson with IR. Since I was using a
red filter with the IR, which makes the sky black, my subject was blasted
(duh). Oh well, I'm always learning.
I prefer metering off of a graycard or finding something that is a neutral
shade. But who are we kidding, its IR. Bracket.....
