You will generally find a higher ratio of IR to visible light in most winter
exposures...

I would recommend setting your camera to meter a stop under what you generally
would, or increase your base ISO significantly...

That's based on direct experience...

Additionally, I actually split a roll of EIR last year (left it in an extra
body), for comparative purposes, between Hawaii and Alaska during the same week
of November last year,,

Results, when metered as I would for Spring-Fall here on the Mainland?

Alaska shots were overexposed by about a stop...  Hawaii shots were dark by at
least 1 stop...  Same roll, same camera, same photog, same exposure
technique...  Big difference in results...

With the HIE I shot in Hawaii on the same trip, I found things about 3/4 stops
thinner than expected... Had to compensate in the developing..

Talked to Kodak and they said the results were, although not predictable, within
the range that should be expected...

So, whatever you do....  Bracket, bracket, bracket!!! (especially the first few
times in a new situation)
