Kodak HSI to be discontinued

Dear All,

Just popped into the office to send you some news - bad I'm afraid.

Spoke to Kodak UK this morning regarding HSI 4x5 sheet film.  I have been
informed that Kodak will be dropping the film from their product range due
to "low demand".

Have a feeling that the manufacturing problems are also a factor.  You may
remember the HSI emulsion pinhole problems reported on the list - see the
IR FAQ for more information.

Have also asked Kodak UK about 70mm film and am waiting for a phone call to
clarify the situation regarding future production plans.
