At least according to my 1993 catalog, Tech Pan in 4x5 is also a 7 mil
ESTAR thick base, like current HSI. 35mm Tech Pan, like 35mm
HIE, is on a 4 mil ESTAR-AH base. (AH being anti-halation if I
remember correctly.)

The thinnest base they mention for any film is 3.6 mil acetate,
which is used for Tech Pan in 120 format.

(All info is from the 1993 edition of Kodak Publication L-9,
_Professional Photographic Catalog_.)
