And is often far more rewarding for both you and visitors to your site.

Complaining about excess server traffic is not necessarily unfair as 
someone has to pay for it. I pay for my web hosting services and also for 
excess traffic and I can assure you it adds up (although I'm not 
complaining as there are other benefits to my ISP and my site is not just 
for my gallery). But if you're after FREE space then you still have to shop 
around to find something that suits what you want.

You also have less competition on your own site and there are many ways to 
both promote your own site and make it easier for people to find you. I get 
detailed statistics for my site and I am frequently surprised at some of 
the ways people find my site.
