First serious test had a serious stuff up (including the weather) but I did
get something to test the scanner. Currently testing HIE developed in
Technidol (I left the D76 at home so I tried what I had left in the
darkroom) and the negative scanned well enough.

1: It does scan better as a positive and then inverted
2: A further adjustment of the curves applying something looking similar to
a charactersitic curve was necessary to get a more natural result.
Otherwise the image looked flat even though it covered the full brightness
range.
