Pete,

Same problem with the Bronica S series and probably the EC also.  The space
between the darkslide and film plane is too narrow for safe installation of
a polyester filter.  The concentric squares need to bed correctly for the
back locking mechanism to operate correctly and of course for light
tightness.

My early attempts to modify a back to take a polyester filter resulted in
light leaks around the darkslide area.

There is so little room between the shutter and the rear of the body that
playing around in that area would as you say invite disaster....

The Bronnie does have an occasional IR outing with a Cokin "P" filter
holder attached.  Simply raising and lowering the filter in the holder does
the job for me.
