Hi Sadaaqat,
While you may have overexposed a little - maybe a stop or so - or
overdeveloped a bit, the pictures should certainly be printable as you
see them in the scan. The usual technique for dealing with these
highlights is to 'flash' the paper with a small white light exposure
either before or after the main exposure. This brings in highlights
without affecting the main density much. Any decent B&W printer should
know the trick.
I doubt that your tropical location makes too much difference to IR
content compared with the temperate zones. If you are using a red (25)
filter, then settings of 25-32 are most likely to be good, depending on
your processing.
Would IR be so much fun if it wasn't so ****** annoying sometimes?
